Matthew Miller

Mr. Miller has 15 years of experience in data analysis and modeling using ArcGIS, Python and R to analyze trends in traffic counts, transit ridership, land development, parking demand/supply and crash rates, with a special focus on TOD and Bus Rapid Transit. He has extensive experience developing and applying statistical models to estimate built environment effects on travel behavior. 

He has applied his planning skills to rail corridors in North Carolina, BRT corridors in Ogden and Provo, Utah, and vision transit networks for the Wasatch Front, and his analysis skills to transit corridors and station areas across the United States. His experience includes providing project management oversight and mentoring and developing new analysts.

Mr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the University of Utah, a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Utah, where he also completed coursework for a doctorate in Metropolitan Policy, Planning, and Design.
