Samuya Gupta, PhD.

Saumya Gupta is an engineer and a researcher with an interdisciplinary background and has twelve (12) years of working in various roles as a website developer, business analyst, data analyst, and researcher. She is passionate about urban planning, intelligent transportation system, and sustainable transportation. She has close to seven (7) years of experience working in the transportation industry. She has also worked for two years in the manufacturing industry which exposed her to industry practices of understanding consumer behavior and sentiments, and hence proposing a model to meet consumer’s interests. She enjoys problem-solving, finding insights, and proposing helpful solutions. 

Ms. Gupta holds Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Nevada Las Vegas and PhD. in Civil Engineering from University of Central Florida.
